There are three things that your American Commodity Team loves more than anything. Serving your real estate needs, serving the community and having fun while doing it. Just like they did in 2021 in serving with Rise Against Hunger, the team joined forces again to raise money for a great Orlando area cause.
The team building and community service took on a tropical theme this time as they joined Guys with Ties, an Orlando-based non-profit, at their Aloha Party on Apr 23, 2022. The networking and fundraising event featured floral decorations, Hawaiian shirts, sundresses, fruity drinks and raffle prizes. Most importantly, the night was filled with raising awareness and funds for the Conductive Education Center of Orlando.
The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) serves individuals with neurological motor disabilities including Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida. According to their website, the program, developed in the 1940’s, ‘combines physical and cognitive education through active participation and cognitive repetition”. Students move from around the country and some from across the world, to become students at CECO. Furthermore, CECO never turns a family away for inability to pay. Their dedication to children no matter their cognitive, physical or financial ability is what led Guys with Ties to choose them as the beneficiaries of the Aloha Party and American Commodity to join the celebration and fundraiser.
As American Commodity enters the next quarter, be on the look out for how the team continues to serve Orlando-area customers in their real estate and their community through service. They may be serving an organization near and dear to your heart. If you have suggestions of where their next day of service should be, feel free to contact them!
